Dear Grey Highlands Shooting Stars Sponsor,
On behalf of the Shooting Stars Hockey Association, we would like to invite you to consider sponsoring our hockey group. We are currently seeking sponsors for our 2025/26 Hockey Season.
As an organization, we would not be able to provide such a successful hockey program without the generous support of our community businesses and team sponsors. Through exceptional coaching and fitness training, we continue to develop high quality, young female hockey players, with an improved game knowledge and hockey sense - while building friendship and having fun.
Your sponsorship would go directly to developing our hockey players not only physically, but mentally and socially as well. Part of their growth involves practices, exhibition games, tournaments and team building activities. With the high cost of ice time, referees, tournament fees, travel, and player development fees, this quickly becomes a very costly endeavour. We hope that you will be able to help support the players by sponsoring our organization and we, in turn will help to advertise and promote your business.
Sponsoring our team is not only a great way to get involved with the community, it’s also an amazing form of
marketing for your business. Our hockey teams consist of young women, and we will play against neighbouring teams during our regular season - as well as a handful of competitive tournaments and the possibility of representing our community at Provincials in April 2026. That means your business will have branding in front of hundreds of people and generate priceless impressions not only in Grey and Bruce Counties, but across Ontario as well. With that type of exposure, everyone will remember that you supported our organization.
This year, we are asking for a minimum of $150, in exchange for the following:
● Your logo on our Game Banners
● Email blasts to our Association families thanking you for your sponsorship
● Social media posts about your business
● A team picture to hang in your business
● A handwritten thank you card at the end of the season
In addition to a typically costly season, our organization suffered a devastating loss during the summer, when our arena had a destructive fire. The arena remains closed, and our association has been forced to disperse to multiple other facilities across our municipality. Our once close-knit group feels very disconnected, and we feel like guests in other associations home centres - with no barn to call our own. For this reason, we are trying to give our girls a fun and bonding season, with as many tournament and team building opportunities to grow not only as a team, but as a hockey family as well.
Your sponsorship is greatly appreciated, and we understand that you have several choices when considering
different marketing and community outreach opportunities - but we truly believe that this is a great fit and will make a significant impact on the young women on our team.
